About DA America

Hope, Recovery, and Community

Drogadictos Anónimos USA (DA America) is a peer-based, community recovery organization serving individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. We create welcoming pathways to hope, peer support, Recovery Residences, family support, and community connection across New York, Florida, Colorado, and Connecticut.

Mission

Supporting Long-Term Recovery

Our mission is to support individuals and families affected by substance use disorders through a peer-based recovery program grounded in the Twelve Steps. We foster hope, personal growth, family support, and long-term recovery by creating welcoming recovery-focused environments where people can rebuild their lives in community.

Vision

A Stronger Recovery Community

Our vision is a stronger recovery community where individuals and families find lasting hope, mutual support, and a clear path toward personal growth. We work to expand access to peer-based recovery services, Recovery Residences, wellness activities, and Twelve Step support in communities that need them most.

Our Values

Guided by Principle

Dignity: We believe every person deserves to be welcomed with respect, compassion, and hope. Through peer support, recovery meetings, and a recovery-focused community, we help individuals rediscover self-worth, belonging, and the confidence to move forward.

Honesty: The Twelve Steps call us to live with honesty, accountability, and openness. We encourage truthful self-reflection and mutual support so that individuals and families can build a stronger foundation for long-term recovery.

Service: Recovery grows stronger when it is shared. We encourage members to support one another, strengthen their communities, and carry a message of hope through peer-based service, family support, and everyday acts of encouragement.

DA America Values

Unity: Recovery is sustained in community. We foster connection, shared experience, and mutual encouragement so that individuals and families can grow together in hope, healing, and long-term recovery.

Leadership and Support

Our leadership team is committed to guiding DA America with integrity, accountability, and service.
